KORNATI NATIONAL PARK – Mediterranean paradise. The islands were declared a national park for their beauty, unspoiled nature, diverse coastline and rich flora and fauna. They form the densest archipelago in the Adriatic which consists of about 150 islands, of which 89 of them belong to the national park founded in 1980.
The beauty of the islands lies is their unique appearance: a rocky surface covered with sparse vegetation that grows on stone huts scattered along the secluded bays.
